Alex Floroiu

Alexandru Floroiu is an actor, trainer, project manager, artistic agent, cultural entrepreneur, and the President of the Actors’ Guild.

He graduated in 2011 with a degree in Public Administration from the University of Bucharest. In 2013, he completed his studies in Performing Arts – Acting at Hyperion University in Bucharest, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihai Mălaimare and Assistant Prof. Anamaria Pîslaru. In 2022, he earned a Master’s degree in Theater Studies from the University of Arts in Târgu-Mureș, specializing in Artistic Management.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with both public cultural institutions such as Masca Theatre, “Tudor Vianu” Theatre from Giurgiu, The Comic Opera for Children, ARCUB, as well as independent theaters and companies, including Miniricii, Mezzetino, Vasilache Theatre, Amphitheatrrom Cultural Association, În Culise Theatre, Godot Theatre, and Podul Student Theatre. He has performed in over 1000 productions in Romania and abroad and has participated in numerous festivals and tours, including those in Serbia, Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, and the Republic of Moldova. Currently, he is an actor at Nottara Theatre, Stela Popescu Theatre, and InDArt Theatre.

Alexandru has also played roles in TV series, short films, music videos, and commercials. In 2015, he won the award for Best Leading Actor in the Erasmus+ project “movIeT,” organized by the P.O.D. Association in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain.
